Are You Limitless?

Are you limitless

What would you say if I told you that you were limitless? Would you believe that you are limitless?

What I mean is, as a Christian you are not only saved by grace from your sins, but you have the Holy Spirit living right inside you. The third person of the Holy Trinity lives inside each one of you.

And if we try to do things on our own, we definitely have all kinds of limits. However, when we surrender our hearts, minds, our dreams, plans and everything else to God and let Him take control, we are truly limitless in terms of what we can do with God in control.

Roadblocks to Being Limitless

One of the biggest problems I’ve had is understanding who God created me to be. You see I used to beat myself up over making the smallest mistake, saying the wrong thing, or not feeling good enough.

Understanding who God created you to be is foundational for letting God work in you and through you.

When I finally came to understand that God loves me just as I am and that I am His child no matter how badly I feel like screwed up, it changed my life.

Although, previously I had all kinds of dreams, I subconsciously and consciously put limits on myself.

I would tell myself “You could never do that” or “That’s impossible” and “You’re not good enough”.

I never realized that I did it most of the time. It was hidden under the guise of practicality.

Loved Unconditionally

It was when I read a book by Neil Anderson called “Victory Over Darkness” that my eyes began to open.

I began to understand that I am loved unconditionally by God no matter what I’ve done or how many mistakes I make.

I am secure in that love and can be confident that God will never leave me nor forsake me.

God Has Great Plans For You

If God promised to do something, He will do it.

And, on top of everything else, He wants to use me. He wants a relationship with me. He has great plans for my life.

The same is true for you as well.

Recently, I was reminded of the scripture in Isaiah which says:

“Those who wait  upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall munt up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31 MEV

We are limitless, we can fly under the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. You see, the more we surrender to him, the more he can work in us, heal us, lead us, teach us.

Moreover, He is waiting for you. All you have to say is “Yes, Lord. I surrender. Take control.”

You won’t regret it. Oh, life will still have it struggles and challenges. However, while our resources and vision is limited. God has no limitation. He sees all and can do anything. He is limitless. And when you turn your heart and life over to him – you are limitless as well.
