One way I connect with God is through my writing. That’s why I first wrote Loving Jesus: A 30 Day Devotional. It is filled with the poetry that I’ve written over the years. We all go through hard times in this life. But, it is in those struggles that we find out where our faith really lies and how faithful our God really is. When we get to the end of ourselves, we discover who Jesus really is. By remembering to put Him first, everything else starts to fall into place.
The Christian poetry that I write about faith and trust in God comes from my own walk with Jesus. From serving as a missionary to losing my child due to a miscarriage and my adventures with my husband, God was always faithful.
