As promised, here is the audio book sample for Loving Jesus: A 30 Day Devotional. It’s been quite the journey from writing my first book and several more afterwards to learning how to record an audio book.

I really wanted to make sure I give you something of high quality that shows my heart for the Lord. For me, it’s about so much more than selling books- it’s about communicating to the best of my ability the gospel message so that lives can be changed. And, trusting that God will use my efforts as I step out in faith.

Recording Loving Jesus: A 30 Day Devotional

My husband and I have our own recording studio in our spare bedroom which consists of some moving blankets over a frame made of PVC pipes to help deaden room noise. Inside our little cubical we have our audio mixer and connect it to my computer using Audicity to record and edit our audio.

It’s been a learning process. There is a lot that you have to remember to get good audio so that’s why it’s taken a little longer than I expected. It’s been challenging but a lot of fun also.

This first sample is from the first chapter- Arm Yourself- Ephesians 6: 10-18.

Thank you for all that you do. And, just a note of encouragement, if you have something new that you are learning, keep on going. Don’t give up. The process for learning anything new can be challenging and, at times, frustrating. However, it is worth it.
