It does for me whenever I forget to put God first instead of last. By seeking Him out first, I can save myself a lot of stress. He is the source of our peace and is just waiting for us to turn to Him. He has all the answers we need.

I used to base my identity on how well I performed or on what other people thought about me. I now know that I am a child of God. He created me to love Him first and to love my neighbor as myself.
More than that, however, He created me to be one of a kind- unique. From the color of my hair and what I look like to the times I was born in, my family and the hopes and dreams, skills and spiritual gifts He’s endowed me with. Nothing is an accident. He has a purpose for all things, including you and me.
Would You Like to Grow in Your Faith in God and Find Hope in Jesus?
It is only by investing in our relationship with Him and actually seeking Him out first that we can hope to grow in God and in faith. It is only by listening to Him, reading His Word that we can understand who He created us to be.
We can do this through fellowship, going to church, reading His Word, praise and worship, spending time in prayer and devotionals and other books that supplement the Bible and help us focus on Him.
