Why did you write Loving Jesus: A 30 Day Devotional?
“Understanding God’s Purpose for my life and walking in it is the key to a life of fulfillment and peace. Writing is a way for me to communicate with God. I can just stop for a bit and listen to Him do the talking. This devotional book is my prayers and praises to God. I have learned that praying the word of grace, and being thankful for the little and big miracles every day help me keep my eyes on God and on what is most important. “
Where do you get your inspiration from?
“I’ve always loved to read Christian books about faith by such authors as Helen Steiner Rice, Darlene Deibler Rose, Neil T. Anderson and Andy Andrews. They help me to stay focused on what’s important, to take my eyes off of the problems I am dealing with and to put my eyes back on God where they belong. “

Strengthening & Peace
God’s word is thrilling. It gives you so much peace and at the same time, power. I love reading his word. This devotional is unique as it combines daily scripture with insight, poems and reflection. Life is not easy sometimes, but “Loving Jesus” encourages and uplifts with daily thoughts combined with the powerful scripture we need. From the start, the book tells us to use the armor of God from Ephesians 6. I liked how it was introduced because it’s important for fighting daily against negative forces. The book is easy to follow, starting with a Bible verse, then a poem, a devotional reading, and a short prayer.
