Why did you write Loving Jesus: A 30 Day Devotional?
“Understanding God’s Purpose for my life and walking in it is the key to a life of fulfillment and peace. Writing is a way for me to communicate with God. I just stop for a bit and listen to Him do the talking after all Jesus is calling me to a relationship with Him. This devotional book is my prayers and praises to God. I have learned to be thankful for the little and big miracles every day.”
Where do you get your inspiration from?
“I’ve always loved to read Christian books about faith including “Grace For the Moment” by Max Lucado as well as “Jesus is Calling” Daily Devotional by Sarah Young. I especially love the identity in Christ books by Neil T. Anderson including his book “Victory Over Darkness”. It made a big difference in my life and opened my eyes to my own identity in Christ.”

Strengthening & Peace
God’s word is thrilling. It gives you so much peace and at the same time, power. I love reading his word. This devotional is unique as it combines daily scripture with insight, poems and reflection. From the start, the book tells us to use the armor of God from Ephesians 6. I liked how it was introduced because it’s important for fighting daily against negative forces. The book is easy to follow, starting with a Bible verse, then a poem, a devotional reading, and a short prayer.
You can read the book in two ways: follow its 30-day plan or pick topics that you need help with or want to learn more about. This makes the book useful for different times in your life.
